Exmouth, Tom Price and Karijini

Quick road trip up to Exmouth and stayed at Norwest Air Work at Exmouth. Nice to meet you guys at Coral Bay and good to catch up with you while I did my videoing of Exmouth. Flew a few flights of the Exmouth area and these are the screen grabs from the video's

Had a bug smashing into my front cam of the help at about 140klm, look what he did to the cam and the shot

O well only lost the front cam on Yardie Creek, had other footage to use.
Here is the Exmouth video

Bit of a drive to Tom Price, but a very beautiful one driving in amongst the ranges. Turned up at Paraburdoo and look what this little place has

yep a Drive Inn

Arrived at Tom Price and met up with Warrant Officer Cameron Wagstaff from the B Troop Squadron of Tom Price. Great hospitality, invited me to the Anzac day breakfast at the Army Depot. I spent the morning cooking the barbeques with tinny for the troops , followed by a few sherbies later.

Organised the days to fly out to Karijini National Park and prepared for the two hr long flights
The flights were tuff stuff dealing with 2500ft altitude, hot thermal days and turbulence from the ranges. Its great that I have the camera's rolling because its flights like these that I don't get to enjoy it till I re-live it on the screen.
These are the screen grabs from the footage

Two flights completed and a short stay at Tom Price while the weather broke and all done for Karijini Tom Price.

One of the loco's and 220 carriages of Rio Tinto

My first Gecko friend , Thanks buddy for finding your way down my shirt and frightening the hell out of me

Roi Tinto delivery of a very expensive toad of tyres

Here is the video of Tom Price, Karijini The Pilbrara

Bit of a drive know up to Karatha, overnight stay on the road. Had a little miss calculation expecting Forteque Roadhouse to have gas. Whoops, out with the reserve gas bottles to take me to Karatha.

Canarvon travelling North to Coral Bay

Short stop in Canarvon to refuel and restock and on to Quoba Blow Holes

Behind the scenes shot
Met up with Ross and Helen Hannan and spent the night at The Quoba Blow Holes after shooting some footage of the blow holes. Great night guys
The next day I was up in the air again flying from the blow holes to Red Bluff, very ordinary flight, contended with a 37deg day offshore hot breeze hitting the cold air of the ocean. Wind Sheer, not a nice place to be. Witnessed desert devils and a wirily wind at see. Time to get back on the ground. I was able to get enough footage to put this video together

Off out of their that arvo and onto Coral Bay. Lovely little place, absolutely buzzing with school holiday people. Flew the reef area around coral bay and these are some screen shots

This is the video of Coral Bay

Stayed a week at Coral Bay and loved the place. Very friendly locals, Met Joe Everson and his wife Lisa had a night of Sea Food with them. Seafood to the max…

Thanks to Joe for all the local knowledge, great to get the insights of the town. Met up with Graeme Humphrey's (RIP) son Gavin at Coral Bay and spent a few nights on it with them, your a great bloke Gavin, just like your dad. Great to catch up with you guys. Also a thank you goes out to Corey from Ningaloo Kayak Adventures, thanks Corey for the canoe to duck out and snorkel the reef. Great setup you run their. Thanks to the pilots out at the strip for putting up with me while I stayed.
