The trailer to become motorhome




    In late 2010 I purchased this ex-car carrier and started what was to be a total strip and rebuild
       
It was a nice rig before I attacked it



Silverado tow tug

Not much left. Stripped for the frame alterations

Frame altered and ready for re-clading


stretch panel lifted into place



passengers side fitted



drivers side lined up for clading

front aluminium sheets fitted

trims and external doors fitted


insulation started


internal walls, door and shower/toilet fit out

roof landing pad, solar panels and some hatches fitted

windows fitted


insulation all fitted out



timber frames for living area

always looks a little messy , bucket load off wires for the contol panel area

roof linning installed

sink and stove top area of kitchen

final fit-out of gooseneck towing assembly

road test


wall linning installed

helicopter and workshop area completed


time to see if all the measurements worked
( fits snug )



great for parties too, band and stage all in one


longer road test (2000klm) to the goldcoast and return, all going great!!


suspension change, airbags and shocks fitted
