Larrawa Station Halls Creek (cattle mustering)

I met a lovely lady and her sons on the side of the road out of Fitzroy Crossing who invited me to stay at their Station stay half way between fitzroy and halls creek. I arrived to their cattle station were I was hoping to get some great footage of muster operations.
I spent around a week at the station flying out to their muster area and back. I was glad to be allowed to join in with their muster of cattle from one destination to another.
These are a few screen grabs fro the footage taken on the muster

Whilst on a day away from the muster I flew my chopper to a peak and landed on it. I took out the drone and flew it up to take these two pics. A bucket list tick for me on this trip to land on an outcrop

After completing the muster I put this video together

Cattle Station Mustering completed and of towards Hall Creek to get fuel and a few supplies.
Drove to a point closest to get out to Wolf Creek Crater
The flight out was terrible, It was only a gentle breeze but after I had taken off the wind gusts became stronger. So… Up I went cruising at 5000ft , arriving at the crater I defended down to 500 above the ground to find I had a stiff cyclic control. A little spookie as I was flying over the crater my radio started crackling. Time to land asap. Found nothing wrong except a dirty connection on the radio headset. Being a little put off I headed back to the trailer. I then upon investigation realise that the slider ball had become tight on its adjustment. (temperature change)
Fixed those issues and of to the Bungle Bungles.

Derby Area

I flew out to The edgar ranges and these are the screen shots from the vids

Went to the Derby races
only at the Derby Races

Two up at the races

Met two lovely ladies Kim and Emma
Waiting out for the wind to ease so I can fly to the Horizontal Falls.
The wind finally gave me a gap to fly up to the Horizontal Falls. Thanks to the owner Troy and his staff for putting me up on the Houseboat overnight. Horizontal Falls Seaplane Adventure has a houseboat floating resort at the falls area in Talbot Bay. I put this video together for them to advertise their business

This video is of the surrounding area at the fall and the falls from my helicopter

These are screen shots of the video of my flights around the falls area

After the first visit to the houseboat I organised a second so I could fly further up the coast to Montgomery Reef.
The video of The big tides at Montgomery Reef and Collier Bay. These tides were around the 9 mtr mark….alot of water. The reef is under around 5mtrs of water on high tide and exposed on low with water rushing off it.

Screen shots off the footage of the area

The Derby council who own the airport their and at fitzroy crossing were very unhelpful and rude to say the least. Funny how I'm spending a lot of effort and time in their area promoting it and they just didn't care. GOOD ON YOU DERBY COUNCIL……  GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR TOURISM..
TAKE A LONG LOOK AT YOURSELVES. YOU HAVE VERY LITTLE OF INTEREST TO SEE AND ALL I AM DOING IS TRYING TO ADVERTISE WHAT LITTLE YOU HAVE
                                                               NOT IMPRESSED!!!!
