I spent around a week at the station flying out to their muster area and back. I was glad to be allowed to join in with their muster of cattle from one destination to another.
These are a few screen grabs fro the footage taken on the muster
Whilst on a day away from the muster I flew my chopper to a peak and landed on it. I took out the drone and flew it up to take these two pics. A bucket list tick for me on this trip to land on an outcrop
After completing the muster I put this video together
Cattle Station Mustering completed and of towards Hall Creek to get fuel and a few supplies.
Drove to a point closest to get out to Wolf Creek Crater
The flight out was terrible, It was only a gentle breeze but after I had taken off the wind gusts became stronger. So… Up I went cruising at 5000ft , arriving at the crater I defended down to 500 above the ground to find I had a stiff cyclic control. A little spookie as I was flying over the crater my radio started crackling. Time to land asap. Found nothing wrong except a dirty connection on the radio headset. Being a little put off I headed back to the trailer. I then upon investigation realise that the slider ball had become tight on its adjustment. (temperature change)
Fixed those issues and of to the Bungle Bungles.
